Slovenia says S&P rating cut "excessive"

LJUBLJANA (Reuters) - Slovenia on Saturday called its ratings cut by Standard & Poor's "excessive", saying it did not take into account the country's efforts to stabilize public finances. S&P on Friday downgraded 9 of 17 euro zone member, among them Slovenia, saying policy makers have not done enough to address the euro zone debt crisis.
